Pro-Excel
Dance Yorkshire
Perform live with a major artist at Bartercard Odsal Stadium
Dance Yorkshire returns to Bradford in May 2027 for a stadium-scale performance bringing together young people from across the UK, Ireland and beyond.
Created by Pro-Excel in partnership with Bradford Bulls, the project aims to unite 3,000 performers for a live show ahead of a Bulls Super League match. Dancers will train with industry professionals, rehearse as part of a major production and perform alongside a chart-topping artist in front of an expected crowd of up to 10,000.
Following a record-breaking Dance Yorkshire 2026, this is an opportunity for your group to be part of something even bigger.
The event is planned for Saturday 15 or Saturday 22 May 2027, with the final date to be confirmed.

Bartercard Odsal Stadium
Take your performance to the field
Bartercard Odsal Stadium is the home of Bradford Bulls and the stage for Dance Yorkshire 2027.
Performers will take to the field as part of a professionally produced show before a Super League fixture, sharing the experience with thousands of fans. Music, dance and live sport will come together in a performance built to fill the stadium.
Up to 10,000 — expected crowd
Perform with a major artist
Be part of the live show
Dance Yorkshire gives performers the chance to share the stage with a major artist as part of a large-scale live production.
In 2026, 1,123 performers joined Sigala and Shanice Steele at Bartercard Odsal Stadium, helping Pro-Excel and Bradford Bulls achieve a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most backing dancers to a singer.
For 2027, we're building on that experience with an even larger performance. The artist for Dance Yorkshire 2027 will be announced in due course.
Your performance journey
From the first masterclass to show day
Our team will visit your school or organisation to deliver an intensive eight-hour masterclass. Performers will learn the official choreography and begin working together towards the live show.
They'll also have access to The Green Room, our online learning platform, where they can revisit the choreography and continue practising before the event.
At Bartercard Odsal Stadium, dancers will take part in an on-site technical rehearsal before stepping onto the field for the performance. Pro-Excel manages the choreography, staging, production and event planning throughout the project.
Every participant will also receive an official performance T-shirt and a ticket to the Bradford Bulls Super League match.

More than a performance
An experience beyond the studio
Dance Yorkshire is designed to give young people an experience beyond competitions and the traditional studio environment.
Working towards a shared stadium show helps performers build confidence, resilience and teamwork. They'll learn what it takes to prepare for a professional production, meet dancers from other groups and play their part in a performance on a remarkable scale.
Every role matters. Together, thousands of performers will create one live show while each young person has the chance to develop and shine.
Real training. Real production. Real audience.
Who can take part?
A place for every performer
Dance Yorkshire welcomes dance schools, academies, cheer and acrobatics groups, and students from mainstream education and SEN/SEND provision.
The show includes age and ability-based sections so performers can take part at a level that suits them:
- Junior / Intermediate: ages 6–11, school Years 2–6
- Senior / Advanced: ages 11+, school Year 7 and above
Beginners and experienced performers are welcome. Groups should bring at least 25 participants, which can include current students, alumni or dancers joining through a partner school or organisation. Our team can provide recruitment materials and support you as you bring your group together.
